As fine a set of brass castings is not often seen. Incredibly ornate and intricate design. Remarkably fine detail for this kind of brass metal casting. Hand painted enamel and tinted finish work brings this pair of K & O solid brass bookends to an artform. Reverse side shows step and repeat fleur de lis and maker stamp. Very heavy for their size at approximately 3lbs each. Only very minor paint rub in small spots. Each measures 5.25 wide x 5" high x 3.5" deep. Very good 100 year old condition.
