19th Century Gilt & Cane Seat Side Chairs Shabby Project

A pair of beautiful old ladies. Shabby to be sure but there's life still to be lived. 19th century Louis XVI gilt painted and cane side chairs. Frames are in generally good condition with some joint separation as shown. Caning of seats and backs shows tears and breakdown. Original 150 year old tasseled cushions show similar wear. Enjoy them as they are as decor, or rehab into useful seats. Each measures. 41" high x 24" wide x 19" deep.
