Nepalese 24K Gold Leaf over Copper Meditating Shakyamuni Buddha Early 20th C.

We rarely see gilt COPPER, but here' one. Everything but the head is covered in 24K gold. Head is gilt painted. Common in these as the gold leaf can distort the facial features. Early 20th century Nepalese figure of Meditating Shakyamuni Buddha. 12" high. Note chip of gilt paint from face. Repairable but we leave that to the buyer. Scattered finish loss and tarnish to copper as shown. We call that 'well earned patina' in the biz. Maker's mark on bottom. Measures 7.0" W x 12.0" H x 5.0" D
