Vintage Twig/Stick Bentwood Chairs plus Two Benches

Though a centuries old art and probably going back several thousand years among native American tribes, most stick or twig furniture found in North America hails from Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania among the Amish and Mennonite communities dating back to the early 1800's. This set is a great example of the 'higher end' more intricate and involved work produced. The aging and hardware used we believe date this set to the 1950's or so.

Solid full set of two fan back chairs and two, three foot benches. All in solid, ready to use condition. Approximately 50-75 years old. Great weathering. No wobbles or missing or broken elements. We recommend keeping these out of the rain and they'll last for many decades to come. And don't be alarmed when some bark occasionally falls off, it's normal!
